Like, I want it to stay stuck in time, never update again, because I view some stuff I prefer people wouldnt know about, but I also want what is on there now to stay on there. How would I do this?
could write a batch file that makes a backup of what you want to save, then when your done viewing your personal ish, it will erase the contents on the recent folder and copy back what was in there.
might need 2 batch files. one backup one restore.
might be 100% faster ways too. thats just the first thing i thought of.
If you want stuff to be "permanent" in there, just make another folder on the start menu and put the shortcuts you want there. Then just clear your recent docs whenever you finish with your junk and leave it blank.
Unless of course you don't want others to know that you've cleared the recent docs. In which case you could do what has been suggested, or just open a bunch of other stuff when your done so that it fills the menu with other non-sensitive documents again.
