Any way to measure temp of Visiontek GF3 Ti500?

I don't think you can measure the temp on a video card. (I have no clue, so someone correct me if i'm wrong.)

I'm almost positive that card has a fan on it, so don't worry about temp. on it. Just look for artifacts in games and such when you overclock. If you leave it at the default speed, then tehre is no reason for you to worry about its temperature.

You should have gotten a Leadtek or Asus. The Leadtek will monitor CPU temps via software and I think the Asus will also monitor ram temps, but the Asus cards are pretty ridiculously priced. Both cards do this by proprietary software and via a hardware chip on the card, with temp probes touching the CPU.

Only way to do it with a Visiontek is buy a digital temp gauge and tape the probe so it touches the CPU. You have to remove the heatsink, though.

You can measure the temp of the gpu by placing a thermal probe on the back of the card right where gpu would be.
