Any way to make a CD-ROM not eject when the button is pushed in Vista?

Two year old plus HTPC equals bad things, man. I've already got the reset button unplugged and the power button disabled. Now he's discovered the optical drive and keeps putting stuff in it.

Any way to prevent the drawer from opening unless you use the keyboard or even a remote control shortcut?

you could take apart the button, and maybe extend it to the back of the box. i don't know if there's software to disable it (not too sure that's a good idea anyway) or if you're bold, it can probably be disabled in firmware.
