Any way to get back at this company?

I tried buying a Warcraft 3 cd-key from www.warcraft-keys.com, but after paying for the item, they never sent me any keys (my friend got his right after payment, although they didn't work). I emailed them the next day saying that I never got my keys. They then wrote back saying that they occasionally have problems and that I should send the item back so that they could fix it. Well, I replied saying that I don't even have an item to send back...all I need is for them to send me the cd-keys.

No response, so I emailed them the next day seeing if they had received my previous email and if there was a resolution to my problem. I stated that if I didn't hear back within another day, I would have to file a dispute through the company I paid them with (AlertPay). Well, they wrote back saying that they do not tolerate threats and verbal abuse, they would contact my local police department, and they have blacklisted me from their email list.

I already filed a dispute with AlertPay, but is there anything else I could do to get back at them? I can't believe they would say I threatened them, and then to claim that they will contact the police department...it's so ludicrous. I absolutely don't believe their bullshit, but somebody needs to put these bitches in their place (and no, that's not a threat).

I wouldnt bother doing anything outside of spreading the word they suck. Deal with Alertpay and get your money back.

Why on earth would you even consider buying from a website like that?

They are even using a PayPal owned 'Buy Now' image to link to AlertPay, sounds 100% legit if you ask me.....

Tried to save a couple of dollars and failed. Next time just go pick it up from the $5 bin at a store.

so let me guess. you downloaded the game off bittorrent. then found no key. then decide to buy the key for a hell of a lot less then the legal game. Now that you got scammed you are pissed off?

yeah..no sympathy

Read the thread. I own the game, just can't find the cd.

I used g2buy.com to purchase a few keys, then tie them into battle.net so that I could download the ISO's. I had the CD's but probably threw them out with one of my old pile of spindles of CDs I had laying around...and out went the keys too.

Those guys were quick to send me my keys.
