Hi guys,
I've had quite a head-scratcher for the last few days. I have a lot of USB devices connected to my PC with a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 mobo and I've been getting a lot of totally random BSODs during heavy USB activity, like trying to backup files to an external hard drive. At first I tried looking at other places, but I accidentally found that I can reproduce the BSOD 100% by turning my Epson SX210 printer on or off so I removed its drivers and all the problems went away. But I can't print no more, obviously. Is there a (reliable) way to check whether a particular driver is stable? I want to try different driver versions for my printer but I can't afford to get data corruption from "testing" for stability by thrashing the USB hard drive.
