Any way to copy GBA game saves?

I lent my Mario & Luigi super star saga game to my friend, she played for almost 10 hrs, and loved it so much she went out and got her own copy of the game. But now the question is there anyway she can copy her save to the new copy of the game she just bought? I have my save on my copy, but now about to take back the game. We've tried using the link cable, and does seem to let you copy save from 1 cartridge to another.

But is there a way?
