Any way to amend last years tax return?

I just found a tax form from my college and I put significantly less on the tax return than I actually paid into school. About $1300 did I not get credit for.

Can I go to H&R block or some place of the sorts and refile? I used turbotax last year.

Yes, you can amend it.

Yes, a tax prep service like H&R Bloch can/will do it.

Or, if you still have your TurboTax proggie just rerun it with the new/higher amount and fill out a Form 1040X (amended tax return).

If you used TurboTax you can use it again to make the corrections. You may need to mail in the forms. Pretty sure you can either do it at TurboTax on line (if that is how the original form was done) or else reinstall the program on your computer, let it update, access your tax file (you did save a copy of the tax file ?) then when you open the program, it will ask you to start a new return or open an existing one. That is the option you want.
