I've got a desktop at school and it is absolutely locked down. I can't install software on it or log onto any server port besides 80. Its running Win2k Pro using DFS services. Theres a lot of "down time" involved in my school day and I'd like to be able to log onto my computer so that i can follow up with client e-mails and get work done (Quickbooks, Outlook, FTP client, TextPad, etc, propritary dev tools). I've tried logging in through terminal services, but IE won't accept the ActiveX script needed. I've tried FTP'ing in, but no luck since port 21 is blocked (all ports besides 80 are blocked).

Anybody have any ideas?

Here - I believe you can set up HTTP tunnelling (Port 80)...it costs a small fee..but if its worth it to you.

*edit* fixed link, thanks!

does this require any activeX or any script to be installed in IE? If so, than it wont work for me since IE is locked down (I can't even changed the farking screen res!; 1024x768 on an IBM 19" Trinton  )
