Any Walkthru on Linux install

is there any site that gives a visual walkthru of the installation process?

Download Mandrake. The installation process is as easy as Windows.

Just make sure all your hardware is compatible. Installation was cake.

Red Hat or Mandrake have basically only 2 big options for you, your Filesystem type (ext2 or ext3) and how to partition your drives. Other than that, 90% chance all your hardware will be picked up on install including CD-burners. I'm not sure of what to do if you have RAID set up though.
