Since a bunch of current employees are moving over to another company at the end of the month, I have been busy wandering around and rooting/scrounging/bartering with folks seeing what I can get to try to build a couple 'newer' servers (My current ones dont even have PCIe slots lol) Some of that includes a number of Nvidia cards:

-Tesla K10, K20
-Quadro 4000 & 5000
-M2090
-Another one I cant remember off the top of my noggin

Most of them are still sealed in their ESD bags.

What can these be used for? I'm pretty certain they can't be used for gaming, nor Phsyx for that matter (none of the cards support Physx, only CUDA I beleive)

TIA

For consumer uses, they're of no value. However K20 in particular is still a modern compute card that can be put to good use for someone who's involved in GPU computing.

Id be very tempted for these cards...

Good use for most ANSYS software :D

Basically anything from accelerating complex mathematics model calculations, many different types of simulations (this one is really helpful), 3D acceleration for 3D applications such solid works/maya etc. They really do help in the productivity department when general processing or simulation time takes forever for very complex models (we are talking from weeks to days or days to a few hours!).
