Question Any USA made PS1 to USB adapters?

Just picked up a 2D game on steam, Terminator 2D No Fate, and while it doesn't require a controller the first thing to pop up was a recommendation to do so. Played the game on a keyboard for a second and the muscle memory of playing on a PS1 controller popped back in my head! Pulled out my old PS1 controller, thought about it for a second, it must be close to 40yrs old, wow. I know it works in my PS1 still so that's confirmed so I thought I'd have some nostalgia fun and give Terminator 2D a go on a controller. I also have Return to Dark Castle in my Steam wish-list and that might possibly recommend playing on a controller too.

Do they even make PS1 to USB adapters in the US?

Thanks

I know of no US manufacturer but if there were one, it could likely be ridiculously high priced unless it was just some very old stock on clearance somewhere, and then there might be a software support issue.

Like just about anything these days, there are youtube videos about getting the job done - with the typical Chinese/etc made adapters. I have no experience using them.
