Any updates to getting XFI/Vista64/4gig working?

I've heard nothing from creative on possible fixes for running the xfi, with vista64, and 4 gigs of ram to eliminate the horrible sound/popping/static.

Wondering if any new developments have been made, or if users have found any fixes.

I run Vista 64, 4GB of RAM and X-Fi.

I used to have the static issue; it's annoying as heck. A workaround is to disable the X-Fi in device manager, and then re-enable it, eliminating the static (albeit temporarily).

However, about 3 weeks ago a hotfix popped in WU that, while not specifically about the X-Fi, mentioned sound problems in Vista 64. After installing it the issue hasn't cropped up again. Might be a coincidence, perhaps one of the patched in the reliability and compatibility packs released a few weeks back fixed it.

Or perhaps it's just waiting around the corner to happen once again.

everything working for me (XFI, 64, 4gig), now just waiting for softwares to release vista versions....

so vista is still useless to me, the software i need are not compatible in vista

for the X FI just download the latest drivers and your are done

I'm with AllGamer, I'm using the Xfi/64/4GB setup and everything is working at 100% here. Though AllGamer, what does the CL software do that you need? I'm having a hard time thinking of anything important that isn't handled by the audio console.

How to get a mic working with the xfi is my question. I got fed up and removed my xfi and am currently using the onboard sound which is decent but i would REALLY like to use my xfi xtremeMusic card. I do ALOT of online gaming and really need my mic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
