"To our Pay Pal Customers

At Rolling Paper Warehouse, we are committed to protecting your privacy online. Our Privacy Policy demonstrates our firm commitment to protecting the privacy of our customers. It has come to our attention that Pay Pal cannot guarantee the privacy and sanctity of your personal financial and transactional data.

Furthermore, It has come to our attention that Pay Pal collects, maintains, and disburses your personal information among ?related? companies. As such, this is contrary to our privacy policy and we can no longer support their continued and blatant use of customer personal data, including, but not limited to: Social Security numbers, spending habits, banking records, and personal information.

Please remember that we do accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express through very secure servers. In addition, our credit card processors DO NOT ALLOW any access to your credit card information to our firm. "

Its from a website but im just wondering if anyone knows that information to be true. I really wish Google would open up an auction site to compliment their Google checkout and give competition to stop the high Paypal fees.

Paypal doesn't have my SSN, at least I don't think they do.

In any event, it just sounds like they're trying to scare you into not using paypal and using their own website so they don't have to pay Paypal fees. Doesn't sound like a scam though.

Oh but they reserve the right to put all funds in your account on hold and not only request your SSN but have you fax in your license, for whatever reason they deem necessary.
