It supports tabbed conversations, great. The very last hurdle that's making me love this program is the ability to have AIM/Yahoo chats all within the same window, and then just toggle through each tab for conversations.

Anyone?!?

I may have to move to Gaim.

having moved from gaim to trillian...me thinking of moving back to gaim.

just think gaim has a cleaner, simpler interface. Even with something as simple as tabbed conversations - gaim does it better.
 
you can make custom windows or what trillian calls containers. For example I have all the people from my hometown in one window and people that I know where I live now in a different window (it doesn't matter if they use AIM, Yahoo, ICQ,..). You just right click on the conversation windo ( not in the text area, above the send button for example) and then under attach click on new container. Once you have assigned a conversation to a container it will always stay in that container so you can assign all the conversations to one container if you want them all to open in the same window.
