Hi,
Looking for upgrade for clumsy pioneer av reciever, found this one good looking, not big, almost slim-line, and looks like it fits my needs(music, somtimes some movie:
- slim size and black
- min hdmi in(pc, consloe, htcp-infuture or bd-orwhatever)
- hdmi out for tv
- min 5.1 audio(this one have 7.1) in case if i will change these ones or add to them subwoofer + other parts. http://www.magnat.de/index.php?id=3150&L=0&cHash=63cc2d38a7fefe9ac2f558e2410fd6e1
- Mostly listen music...
- Lan + Wireless N for music streaming from various devices.
- NAS support via wifi/eth
So far found this one for 499usd http://www.oppodigital.com/blu-ray-bdp-103/
But looks like this model do not support native DLNA and AirPlay, maybe i am wrong about ??
- So still need DLNA + Airplay + Bluetooth(A2DP). In best scenario iphone/ipad dock.

So guys, pros and other smartbrainers, what do you think about this device and would hear your recomendation.

p.s I live outside US, so all goodies as netflix and pandora goes in ...

p.s.s Oppo realasing new model a lil fatter BDP-105, in ads its positioned as flagship, but still no specs and realase/price...

The Oppo BDP-103 looks like a great player on paper and I definitely wouldn't mind registering to be on the waiting list for it if I was in the market for a new BD player. Just to be clear though, the 103 hasn't been officially released yet, but should be soon.

The 105 rumored price will be ~$1200 and is designed to be used if you need its analog section. If you are using HDMI, stick with the 103.

The Oppo line of players have pretty much dominated the "high-end" for a few years now. The 105 will be the same difference as the 95 was to the 93, that being an "audiophile-grade" version...but it's a bigger difference this time around. Better DACs, power supply, headphone amp, separate stereo ouputs plus XLR output and FINALLY what I've been waiting for: the ability to use it as an external DAC via 2 HDMI inputs and asynchronous USB.

Found a liltle bit info about this oppo model:
http://www.audioholics.com:8080/rev...d-players-hd-dvd-blu-ray/oppo-bdp-103-105-pre
http://www.audioholics.com:8080/rev...n-dvd-players-hd-dvd-blu-ray/oppo-blu-ray-q-a

Still cant understand wahy there isnt bluetooth audio and airplay. Then this would be best in category for sure, especially 499 usd.

Found another one http://www.loewe.tv/uk/products/mediavision-3d/mediavision.html
Loewe MediaVision 3d, some similarities with oppo. Couldsnt find price for Loewe product, but looks like this will be 1000+ usd. :D

Not exactly features that I look for...are A2DP and Airplay in ANY bluray players? Seems like they would be...out of place, for a presumably wired system.

They sound great as always. Nothing that would motivate me to upgrade from my BDP-93, but they do sound like the best players on the market. I just wish they would add Amazon streaming (plus the interface with Netflix and Youtube is insanely clunky).

just get the Sony S790, it's cheap at $249 MSRP, can upconvert to 4k resolution, some say the picture is better than Oppo BDP93/95, why spend more?

why are you looking at a bluray player to replace a receiver?
