Any Touareg owners on here?

Mmm, torque+++ on the V10 TDI, it's even more brutal than the 'Cruiser's 4.5L TT V8 diesel. Of course, the W12's 330 odd kW is just plain scary 😉

Personally I'd prefer the 'Cruiser for sheer off-road capability and reliability reputation, but the Touraeg comes with some very appealing motors, I'd be delighted with either the V10 TDI or the savage W12 😉

First generation was horribly unreliable, but the Touareg 2 seems to be holding up pretty well.

I always wanted to build up a Phaeton W12. That's one hell of a sleeper ride with some turbos thrown on it... if you can fit them.

good luck when something goes wrong. simply because there are so few W12's.. you're kinda screwed in that regard 😛

IIRC there is quite a dedicated group of phaeton owners though 🙂

AFAIK you should be able to order many of the parts from a VW VR6, just twice what you normally would 😛
