I just scored a couple of primo seats for a tool concert on Oct. 12th. Has anyone here been to a live show. I hear it's like a religious experience.

I just went to a Tool concert on Thursday night...it was incredible, a total sensory experience.

BTW, right now I'm listening to songs from "The String Tribute to Tool" CD. It's EXCELLENT. Check it out.

Yes, it is. :p

I've seen 3 of their shows and continue to be amazed. I just went to one last night actually 5 hours away from my university, but it was totally worth the drive. Going again on the 21st of Oct :)

A friend of mine travels all over the country to see Tool. He has never regreted traveling a long distance to see a concert.

Yes, I love Tools.

You can't build things without them. :)

Seriously though, Tool is okay.

Skip the Tomahawk performance, for sure. That was the WORST crap I've ever seen trying to be passed off as music. I'm convinced they were lip-synching and their tape was played backwards by accident - it's the only explanation for how horrible they were.

I wished I could have gone to their show last night here in town. But I didn't have the spare cash for tickets (wife would have to go too). :( I haven't had a chance to read the review in today's paper. Hopefully they'll have the online version of it up soon.
