I'm having trouble at work sometimes because i get too tired to do my work. Some people drink coffee, but i don't like coffee because it makes me jittery and i have to go to the bathroom more. Any tips on reliving my fatigue?

Have you tried sleeping the night before? It always works for me.

Eat food at a regular schedule, get 8 hours of sleep, take no-doz, jab yourself with a thumbtack, go outside and walk around for a few minutes, etc. etc.

I am willing to bet your iron and magnesium deficient...do you toss and turn at night or ever have slight pains in your knees?

Also you need at least 8 hours, not 6.

Go to your local vitamine shoppe (try to stay away from GNC) and buy a bottle of ZMA, it is usually used to a supplement to boost testosterone, but it also can make you sleep very well. Also maybe some Melatonin to go along with it. If you read about ZMA and magnesium deficiencies (do a quick google search) you can find lots of info of what might be causing your problem and how ZMA or other supplements for sleep can help.

Your diet might need to be adjusted. If this is a real problem see a nutrionist for some advice.

How much water to you drink per day? 64oz is the recommended amount for any low activity adult, drink more if you are active. I find that if I slack on drinking water it's harder to function and I'm tired. I drink about 3 liters per day during the summer...64oz during the colder times of the year, plus some extra to balance out the daily coffee I consume.

Phokus, you might want to see a doc if you're over thirty. You should just keep a bottle of water around and act like its a cup of coffee.

What's your diet like?

I find that if I eat a bunch of carbs I'll be near passout almost assuredly a few hours later.

I am going to have to second and third that. Melatonin will knock you out in 2 hours, and is absolutely harmless- it's the same chemical that your brain produces to cause you to fall asleep naturally. And ZMA, which is very popular among athletes, will help with magnesium deficiency, which almost EVERYONE in America has, and can certainly give you bad nights of sleep. I'd also suggest stretching in the morning; you may not be inclined to, but there are so many benefits from stretching that I can't list them here. If all else fails, I used herbal energy pills when I had to do third shifts, and they worked wonders.

That would make me even more tired.

Nope, keep in shape. It keeps the blood moving and the brain active. For the first week you'll be tired after the workout, but later on it'll keep you fit and ready to move.
