The Windows 8 phone desktop client from MS is TERRIBLE. Transfers always get messed up, and you cannot do a text search for music. Also, it can't tell the difference between a "band" and "the band".
One neat thing about the Nokia Win8 phone is that there's a peek feature which will let you see the time without waking it up from sleep, kind of like the Moto X.
