Any thoughts on Ruby?

Heard lots of good stuff but was never motivated enough to try it. One of those guys with the crow avatar (name escapes me atm) had a thread going about his work with Ruby-on-Rails a few months ago and was generally pretty happy.

One of the other threads motivated me to play with Ruby on Rails. Ruby itself didn't wow me (just another language), but it seems adequate.
