Any thin-bezel 30" monitors in the pipeline?

You can always try removing the bezel yourself? It's only $4k you're risking for the 3... ;)

Hmm, tri-6990 under helium 2 FTW? With a 7ghz SB-E? You're gonna need ungodly grunt to push such a setup. Even dual 6970 2GB suffers heavily with just 3x 1080p.

It would be about the same demand as 3 2560x1600 displays would put on the GPU.

It's doable. For a game like BF3 though even with quad-fire 6970s you're going to be pulling the settings way back I bet.

Would be 5760x2160, yeah it's almost the same as using 3x30" monitors.

Now 6x30" monitors would be nuts. Don't know if that is supported though. 7680x3200, almost 25,000,000 pixels .. lol

6x30" isn't possible yet. I love that screenshot of Deus Ex, it is just epic.

i am waiting for DeuSex in HD3D over 6 screens. And then the natural progression after that is 5x1 eyefinity - stacked, 10x2 - where you are actually half surrounded by your displays.

Put it all in 3D and it could start getting pretty immersive as objects and the action start to pop out of the screen with you in the center of it all.

All the eyefinity cards support 2560x1600 on DP or DL-DVI. It's just that most cards have at least 1 single-link DVI. If you get those eyefinity cards with only mini-DP (5 or 6 depending on model), you can have up to 6x30". One possible reason you don't see any videos could be lack of monitor stands for 30" one would need to have an array of them.
