Any tablet/laptop convergence devices with GT3 gpu

I keep hoping, but I keep getting disappointed surface Pro 2 has HD4400. Dell Venue 11 Pro has HD4200. Asus Transformer Trio has HD4400 as well. Is there any reason why they are opting that over HD5000?

Is there any device with GT3?

Probably too expensive for GT3, and not enough demand to justify a new product with said chip. The thin/light class hasn't exactly been known for their gaming capability, so most don't look for those kinds of PCs for gaming.

The performance/watt of GT3 and GT3e doesn't seem great compared to discrete gpus either.

If you're trying to game on a tablet, you could look into the Razer Edge Pro.

No I'm not really trying to game on it. At most ill probably just play pcsx2. Was just wondering why no one is using GT3 since HD 5000 TDP seems to be identical to HD4400.

Because 4400 and 5000 get about the same performance with a 15 watt sku, it is only with higher tsp skus you see more performance.

The 5000 probably gets marginally better battery life, key word being marginally.

Yet 5000 skus cost more money for the OEM, if they can't market better performance or an hour+ battery life why pay Intel more?
