Any Sympatico DSL users in T.O here?

or any other competing DSL company in Toronto and the surrounding area?

I don't know all the details but it seems they're upgrading the 1mbit service to 1.5mbit this summer and it's already happening. Some areas are getting the upgrades already. So it's a nice little speed bump to both downloads and uploads.

Then again, I don't know how's it gonna work... whether they're gonna charge extra for it or not

Meh, you could always cancel your Sympatico subscription and go with another DSL company that offers larger bandwidth limits. Plus if you have your own modem, it'll be $10 cheaper per month too.

I'm using Golden.net .. located in Kitchener. Advertised as no bandwith limits but I've heard you get a phone call from them if you use around 50GB a month. I rarely ever go past 15 anyway.

I'll stay with sympatico, I hate changing ISP especially when I lose the email address.

I only run FileShareing programs once in awhile, so it's pretty easy to stay until the limit, but it would be nice if it was it around.

I'm not sure if Rogers every went through with their limits...
