I'm finally going to go ahead and order parts for my new machine, but before I do I thought i'de get some opinions (some things i'm not too sure of).. so here goes..

Case: Cooler Master ATC-110 (with window) <-- unfortunetly it's very expensive :(
Mobo: MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum
CPU: 64 bit 3500+
HDD1: WD Raptor 36.7GB
(raid 0 on the following 2 drives)
HDD2: WD 80GB 7200 SATA
HDD3: WD 80GB 7200 SATA
Video: Gainward Ultra/2400 6800GT Golden sample
PSU: Antec TrueBlue 480
RAM: not too sure of, was going to get this: https://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp...p?ProductCode=80098-27 (2 sticks)

So i'm basically unsure of which ram to get (maybe even more than that) and also the mobo..
Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

oops, i wanted to mention the xtreme low latency ram by corsair, timings are 2-2-2-5 something or other. so if the $300 price tag isn't an issue, you could consider these

why? .01% of a performance boost over value ram is not worth $150

If you're not an overclocker ignore the low latency versions. Kingston's a good brand and their value ram is as decent as the higher performance stuff. The lower price makes it easier to get 1gig of ram which will go nicely with your processor.

It depends on what you need, I just put something together with a Antec Sonata case, that was under a $100. I wouldn't put $300 dollars on a case unless it came with liquid cooling.
