Any suggestions on non-solid food

Anything? I'm starving here. It's been a little over 2 days since they were pulled, and I still can't chew without pain. Any ides what I could eat?

Creamy peanut butter? Guinness? Oatmeal? Careful with oatmeal though, bits of it might get caught in the sockets if you aren't rinsing well.

Refried beans would be another suggestion. The protein and fiber will actually help fill you up a bit.

believe it or not, this type of thinking works pretty well.

when I had my wisdom teeth out, I got nuggets, fries, and a vanilla shake at mcdonalds. put it all in a blender, and you're good to go. eat with a spoon, no chewing. greasy, salty food + ice cream is the basic recipie. tastes really good too.

Mashed potatos and gravy work pretty well. Maybe small bits of chicken for some meat. You will probably be hungry for a few days, OR toughen up enough to eat other foods carefully. It will take at least a week before the sockets start to heal, so be prepared for some pain with each meal. The soft food thing should only need to be 2-3 days however. MOST people can handle some careful eating of regular food after that. Avoid crunchy foods for a couple of weeks...tortilla chips, etc...

You can do pasta, just overcook it so that it gets pretty mushy. As long as the sauce isn't chunky you can cut it up and slurp it down without chewing.

I just lived in pudding and soup. I had my 4 wisdom teeth plus 4 others pulled September 11th (2002) and I was only down a day, then the next day I was fine.
