Any suggestions for posters/pictures to hang on a wall?

Looking around my apartment, all I see is white. I have one huge black and white picture of the New York skyline in a nice frame (pre 9/11 but still no world trade center). I would really like to add a few other things to my walls, but don't really know what to put up there. I haven't liked anything in the local shops. If you have a suggestion, it would be helpful if you could also tell me where to get it.

<< Get some Pink Floyd and Bob Marley posters. You should be able to get them from ebay. >>

that's a really good idea, Im looking at some pink floyd posters now

Whatever you do, don't get Gustav Klimt's The Kiss or Monet's Water Lillies. They are great works of art, but extremely overdone for posters. Having them says "boring, unoriginal conformist". Girls don't sleep with boring, unoriginal conformists.

The searching the site linked above shows that they have some Robert Rauschenberg. That's something that would set you apart and get you noticed. Or maybe a nice Robert Motherwell.

Photographs you've taken yourself. It's fun taking them, you must have liked looking at whatever it was in the first place or you wouldn't have taken a picture of it, and they make nice conversation pieces when you have someone over.
