I am using a brand new NIB ECS PT800CE-A Motherboard (P4/Pentium 4 Prescott). The CPU is P4 3.0GHz 512K L2 Cache with HT (Northwood) which is working in another computer. The video card is CompUSA Radeon AGP 9200 128MB memory. But I can't get the POST message in monitor. Tried another CPU P4 3.0E 1M L2 Cache with HT (Prescott) and got the same situation. I did hear a weak beep after power on. It looks like there is no signal to monitor. What could be the problem? Very appreciate any suggestion. Actually, I tried half a month and feel so frustrated now.

It's almost certainly NOT the graphics card, but the computer itself not firing up for whatever other reason.

What kind of power supply are you using, and what is the rating? You could also continue swapping out parts into your working system and try to isolate which is giving you headaches but that wouldn't be too much fun - unless you're into that kind of thing which is quite possible!

Yank everything out except for the CPU, ram and video... add each component peice by peice until your problems occur, then you'll know where you need to concentrate. If you go down to barebones and you still get nothing, could be a RAM issue. Of course, you will be able to find exponentially greater expert advice here as well as some awesome guides and faqs. Good luck
