Any software to directly edit .vob files without encoding?

Project: Take an existing DVD, rip the .vob files and directly edit them by snipping out a few minutes here, a few minutes there, etc while leaving the vobs as vobs so that they can be easily burned back to a DVD. Any software out there, ideally freeware, that allows you to slice up .vob format without re-encoding it to something else?

virtualdubmod should do it.

make sure to set it to "direct stream copy"

Awesome. I'm familiar working with the original V-Dub already, so it should be a snap adapting to one that handles vobs.

Hmmmm, am I missing something here? It can input vobs, but not output another vob.
