I'm looking for some kind of software that will create .wav's of certain frequencies. Does something like that exist?

Cool edit pro does it, but the demo won't allow me to save files. I'm not shelling out to record 3 10 sec wav's. :) Any more suggestions?

Play your wav file with Cool Edit and record what's being played with another wav program that isn't a trial version.

If you're doing this to test your speakers, just be aware that basic test tones at full volume can fry the hardware of the speaker pretty damn fast.

I'm going to be setting the gains on my amps with an o-scope. Test tones will work a lot better than music will. And the speakers will be disconnected for the duration of the testing. :)
