I have inkjet printers, need some software to reduce the usage of ink. Thanks in advance.

I have heard that there are few software which help!

You're probably better off getting those "do it yourself" inkjet cartridge refill kits.

Just be careful with some of the cheap "compatible" cartridges out there, because they can get clogged constantly and trash the print heads on your printer.

There's "Fineprint"
http://fineprint.com/
which allows shrinking down printing jobs, so that 2, 4 or 8 pages are printed on a single sheet of paper.
However, if you don't really need color printing, I prefer laser printers, which can often be found on sale for under $100. The best laser printer brands, as far as being able to use generic 3rd-party ink cartridges: Brother or Samsung.

+1

They are almost as cheap as an Inkjet now. This is the best thing I ever did.

I wouldn't even say almost as cheap.

You're already hitting savings by the time you have to replace the starter toner cartridge. Unless you specifically need a high end inkjet for some sort of specialized printing, they're 100% junk.

I picked up a Brother color laser for about $120.00 shipped on sale from NCIX last year. To me, that's a value.
