its simple, and you can specify a certain size to resize to, or % of original. And its a standalone .exe with a good GUI. why you need anything else to resize pics is beyond me.

If you dont want those tags, make a copy of the images you want to resize and check "Resize the original pictures" after clicking the advanced button.

XP Image Resizer sucks, btw. It does a very cheap job at resizing and you can probably find something better.
