Any snipers here? A question about Operation Flashpoint...

I just got the game, and after a few hours at it I feel that the game portrays a reasonably, playable-type of realism but I have a few questions about the sniper rifles:

1) Does the sights of the Dragunov really have those range markers in them? I've read that their PSO-1 sights do have some sort of integral range finder though, but never really seen through one.

2) The manual describes ranging with the M21 as just adjusting your zoom until you have "ranged" your target. As far as my limited knowledge in sniping tells me, even though the M21's Redfield AccuRange sight has a mechanism for finding range, you still have to compensate your sights (e.g. like in the game Delta Force Land Warrior) in order to make an accurate hit, don't you? Which means that this "ranging" automatically adjust the angle for you for the sake of gameplay, no?

3) Although the manual does mention that wind will affect your sniping accuracy, I have yet to meet a situation where the wind blew my trajectory off course. Is wind really simulated in the game, and if so, where do I find the wind direction and velocity in the game interface?

Thanks,

I haven't found the wind to be a factor in the game. There is know way to know the direction or speed. You can change the zero of the m21 in 100yrd increments but I found that it is pretty much like a real rifle. Zero about 200 yards and adjust with elevation for any other range. I did find that it seems to be pretty accurate on the way it shoots at differant ranges. If it seems further than 200 yards you will have to aim a little high or alot depending on how far. Like wise you will have to aim alittle low if you are to close. The druganov does have a range finder reticle in the scope like in the game. I find it alittle hard to use but I think that is mostly due to familiarity.
