Any single-CPU mobos w/64-bit PCI slots?

I'm looking for a motherboard that has 64-bit, 66MHz PCI slots. A few caveats however:

1. Non-Xeon boards; can't afford those
2. 8x AGP slot

This is probably a pipe dream, but what the heck; I lose nothing by asking. 🙂

Finally !! Looks like a good combination of features. Although wish they had 3 - 32bit slots.

Why's the green 64pci connector diff ?

Well, it seems that main diff b/t the two is that the "+II" version has dual SATA RAID controllers and dual on-board gBe. Neither of which I need.

Both boards also come with ALL the cables, which in the case of the "+II" version, probably adds a lot to the price.

I would imagine even the cheap version is $300. I'm going to Newegg now to have a look-see around.

This bad boy.

IF, if, if it doesn't work too well in my current mobo (8RDA+). I have been told by an extrememly knowlegeable person that this card will work in a 32-bit slot. I'm just investigating my options here...that's all.

Up until the board so kindly linked to by dexvx there have been plenty of mobos w/64-bit slots, but not SINGLE CPU AND ALSO WITH 8x AGP slots.

A single CPU server board turned into a gaming rig? If anyone can do it...Crazy MichaelD can. 😕 😀
 
but dont forget that you can always use just a single cpu in a dual cpu mobo (nothing wrong with leaving one of the sockets empty 🙂 )

the advantage is that you could always upgrade to dual cpu in the future

See, the thing is that:

1. Dualie boards are $$$$$$
2. Dualie boards usually only take Reg/ECC ram
3. B/C of #2, that means no PC3200, which means not so fast stuff, you know?
4. Dualie boards don't have an 8x AGP slot.

If I were to get this board, I'd be making a gaming rig out of it. Why? Why not? 😉

but the performance will be totally bottlenecked by the pci bus.

To the best of my knowledge, all PCI-X cards just like PCI64/66 are backwards-compatible to slower slots. The cards, OTOH are a little more picky. Newer PCI2.2 cards that are universally compatible (3.3V signaling capable) should work in any PCI slot, whether it is 32/33, 64/66 or PCI-X.

I think these's new mobo's will be better than the first batch of pci-express mobo's. Because I read that the ich6 chipset will support 1 - x16 slot + 4 - X1 slots.
This translates to 8Gb/s in duplex for video and 512Mb/s in duplex for the rest of the pci-express slots each. 🙁

Supermicro is generally more expensive than cheaper brands, but I doubt it'll be that expensive.

AFAIK, the Dual Xeon version of the 875P/Hance Rapids retail for less than $300 (the IWill DH800 875P/HR Dual Xeon board retails for $300 in *Japan*).

Granted, they don't have it in stock, but it's the only place I've seen to even HAVE that board LISTED. Not a bad price, considering what you get. 🙂
