Any signs of election hacking?

After all of the talk about the various ways that elections can be hacked, it seems that someone would want to risk everyting prove it to the world. I mean, some hackers risk serious prison sentences just to prove that a single company is not secure, why not an election?

Has anyone seen any reports of possible election hacking so far?

Some things that I image would be attempted:
*Change the name of a candidate to "hacked"
*Change vote totals to opposite in uncontested areas

There should probably be an investigation into how so many of the Democrats won - could it have been the result of hacking?

It is amazing isnt it? The silence questioning the election results when democrats win?

I know you republicans lost and your angry about it. Unfortunatley you will try to find every way to wiggle out using many deceptive schemes like you've done sucessfully in the 2000 election. Just go to your bible thumping (something you are good at).

It is obvious that the Democrates hacked into the voting machines so that they could win.

The only hacking done was on behalf of the Republicans... unfortunately, they still lost. :p

Even if we did it's well deserved. Repubs did the same in 2000 that is one of the main reasons why we had to go with the electronic ballot.

Any irregularities should absolutely be investigated. With the Democrats in congress, if they don't do something about these voting machines I'll be upset.

QFT... Dems win elections... Republicans steal them.

I'm reading some of these threads today and LMAO... If VA or MT had tilted the other way this forum would have been full of comments like "HAX0RS!!1!!" "EFFING DIEBOLD!!!"

More likely more voters voted Democrat than the votes that where hacked.

I am not claiming otherwise, but the silence is amazing. In 04 all we heard about was voter suppression, hacking(hell they still wont shutup about diebold), intimidation.

I guess when you win, these issues arent a crutch to stand on.

I'm a Democrat, but I do not believe we can just ignore the electronic voting issue. They still have security flaws and they do not print out a paper trail. This is and has always been DANGEROUS! Just because we won the house, doesn't mean we'll win the Presidency in the future -- or even win ever! We should look into these issues while they are fresh and not when it's too late.

I came across this link concerning the electronic voting machine glitches.

I think one big difference between now and 04 was the difference between exit poll predictions and the eventual outcomes.

with '06, the predictions are nearly matching up exactly with the results.

Wow. Ask a serious question and get a bunch of stupid cynical answers.
edit: looks like while I was writing this there were a couple of serious responses; thanks

If
-Elections can be hacked and
-Some number of hackers or groups of hackers would think that exposing the exploit is worth the risk of being caught.

I suggest that we should see either blatant evidence that they have been hacked or hear news about hacks that have been covered-up.

If I do not see these things, then one of my assumptions is probably wrong.

Exit polls are unreliable at best. People relying on exit polls to determine a winner get what they deserve. They werent accurate in 2002 or 2000 either.
