Some of you know that my wife and I are expecting our first child to arrive at the end of February. I am excited, but have recently found that I now worry about everything. Is my job secure? What kind of benefits shoudl I be taking advantage of for the baby? Should the baby be on my insurance or my wifes? How the hell do I take care of an infant? Etc.
The latest develoment in my ever increasing paranoia is that I now worry about the fact that I generally know nothing about home improvement, car/small engine repair, or other generally manly stuff. This naturally raises several questions. What if I have a boy? How can I teach him to change the oil in the car when I don't know how to do it myself? Will he be a pansy if I can't teach explain the difference between a 4:3 defense and nickel defense and their benefits/drawback in football? What is a plumb bob, how do I use it, and what is it good for? Etc.
Obviously I am overreacting a bit, but I honestly am concerned that I will not be able to teach my son or daughter to do a lot of important home repair/car maintenance type things. That said, does anyone know if there areschools available that teach home improvement/car maintenance? I'm not looking for a full on trade school (e.g., Lincoln Tech). I just want to take a class.

1) OP and wife are having their 1st kid in February
2) OP is kind of a pansy when it comes to man stuff like home improvement/car maintenance (HI/CM)
3) OP is paranoid that he will not be able to teach his son/daughter HI/CM, and thus will also become pansy's when it comes to these activities.
