Does anyone know who is coming out with the new Serial ATA hard drive ready interface?
Dell is supposedly a member, but hasn't released any new models with this interface...

I have SATA on the new one I just built, but so far there are not enough drives available to do anything with the connections. I think only Seagate has one at the present time. And until they get "plentiful" and competitive, there's not much point except to pay a lot of $$$. Yeah - it's faster - but waiting on my HDD is not something that I have to deal with. The slowest component in my system is me - so the computer waits for me. 🙂
