kind of like how the 4890x2 beat the...oh, wait, there wasn't a 4890x2, was there? Face it, nvidia has a larger die and a competitive arch, odds are they will be faster again. However, if they are 6 months late to the party and they are only marginally faster as they were in the gt 200/4xxx gen then it will still be a win for amd. If nvidia is 6 weeks late to the party and has a kickass product then most of us will wait and happily burn our red shirts and put on green ones.

wow, you and your whole 19 posts are into mod-baiting now, huh? Keys was a big fan of nvidia long before he became a focus group member, but that doesn't mean he's a blind retard. How could you NOT become a green team fan from nov 06 - june 08??? ATI did a good job with 4xxx, but they still have a lot to live down. Why don't you do a little more reading while taking your well-earned vacation?

Optimism or confidence, doesn't matter. You specifically said that people don't have confidence in Nvidia unless they are paid off by them. Which is ignorant and false.

That's an exact quote from you. You put that forth as the reason why that person did not have confidence in Nvidia. Thus putting forth your view that only people being paid off by Nvidia have confidence in them.
Attacking members personally is frowned upon in this sub-forum. You can get away with it in P&N and Off Topic, but they generally try and keep the hardware section civil.
Are all AMD employees liars? Are all Intel employees liars?
We have lots of employees of the industry spend time here in the forums, being part of a larger community, spending time amongst colleagues and friends.
What does one's employment have to do with whether one is a liar, a fanboy, an optimist?
I worked for Texas Instruments when the HDTV race was really heating up and their DLP tech was competing with LCD's and Plasma TV's. Last thing I wanted in my home was a DLP HDTV.
My employer had little to do with my product desires, and I never recommended DLP HDTV to any friend, family or colleague, nor did I discourage them from buying an LCD or Plasma TV for that matter.
Your comments, despite being a disgusting manner to treat any forum member let alone a rather well respected mod, are just blatantly false and without recourse when brought under scrutiny.
Given your post length, and the nature of the personal attacks in this thread, I nominate you for ban, skip the vacation phase, we don't need your kind of hate around here.
