Nearly everyone is a descendant of some royalty somewhere in the past. The sheer number of people who have intermingled and reproduced in the last couple of thousand years makes it all but a mathematical certainty.

Yeah, but it was more blatant when I read it as queer, because when he said queen, it actually has some bearing on the thread (man, queen, homosexual, etc.)
