I like the "falsie" stands they have in the malls with the fake designer styles. Got some awesome killer loop knockoffs for $8 a pair.

Cheap sunglasses are one thing I cannot stand. :)

Then again I'm used to paying $200 for eyewear so spending $200 on sunglasses that I will wear much like prescription eyewear didn't seem unreasonable.

I have a pair of polarized A Wires.

If you are the type who breaks or loses your sunglasses frequently, then cheapie sunglasses are for you. However, buying too cheap of a pair of sunglasses can be really damaging for your eyes. If the lenses do not block UV A, B, and C rays, you are actually harming your eyes more than if you weren't wearing any sunglasses at all!! Reason being, the tint will cause your pupils to dialate more, thus accepting more harmful UV rays directly into your eyes that the lenses aren't blocking. DO NOT buy a pair of sunglasses unless it specifially says it blocks these rays. If it doesn't say it blocks these rays, then it doesn't. Buying a decent pair of glasses will guarantee your saftey, plus style.

Dang...I should sell sunglasses or something :p (I used to).

Well since any pair I ever bought lasts less than a month I'm an expert on cheap sunglasses. Ususally if I'm in a hurry and forgot my pair at home or whatever I go to circle K and but thier cheapest ones that fit my face which are always less than $9.99. But if I have time I go walmart and get them for $5.99 or less. I also have a pair from Costco which are polarized glass fir $69.99.

You can get a good pair for under $50, less if you find a place with them on sale:

- Anarchy
- Dragon
- Spy
- Arnette

Check with a local beachwear or sunglass store. They usually have some sort of sale going on. Don't go with the ultra cheap grocery store glasses. Those may not offer full UV protection and will wreak havoc on your eyeballs.

Just keep in mind with the cheapie shades: Glass lenses, tinting mixed in the glass, not a coating on top.

I have a coupla 'bans, but my workhorse shades are from Pacific Eyes and T's. $45 and they've lasted 2 years now. Lenses are crystal clear, but I had to strip and polish the metal frames. They were painted and the paint flaked. But the lenses rock. UV A/B blocking. :D

I buy a new Polaroid glasses every season. Heck, they're only 15, optically correct, quite a great thing in general. They're plastic though but for $15 you can't beat it. If your careful they can alst you up to 3 seasons (you have to be really careful though).
