4 hrs is ok with the 2.7 client on that machine, all those other machines probably account for your incredible output 🙂

You will see a huge variation in completion times with the new client, probably in the 4 - 10 hr range for that machine.

Chintan: Like Hellburner said, 4 hours per WU is good but not unexpected. Sounds like you've got the problem solved. That's good because if you left it running with the errors it would probably cause problems for you or even the team as far as stats. Like others have said, this is a scientific project and I'm sure SETI@Home wants to make sure they're getting valid data.

Excellent to hear you've got friends running SETI for you. That's exactly what we need to keep moving up the list! 🙂

thanks for the support and help team!

as for now, I've decided to let that one computer not run SETI until I can be sure that its returning proper WU's. In addition, today, A LOT (pretty much 95%) of the computers in my herd will be down b/c my friends are packing up their stuff to move into college. So today shall be a low output day 🙁 ahh well... when monday comes... its all going down baby!! go TEAM!!

(and when school starts, I'm gonna convince every single person on my floor to run SETI, and I will put SETI up in the labs... and SETI in the dorms, and SETI in the hallways, and SETI any other place i can possibly put SETI)

GO TA!!
