Any reason to go with Win7 64-bit over 32-bit, for this older setup?

I'm building a computer for my step-dad with parts I had leftover from an old computer.

Here are the specs.

Motherboard - DFI Lanparty NF4 (not sure of exact model #)
CPU - Opteron 165 (1.8 GHz, Dual Core - will probably OC to 2 GHz)
2 x 1GB sticks, and 2 x 512MB sticks, for 3GB total memory.
64GB Kingston SSD, and no other drives
Old Radeon X850 PCIe
etc.

I'd really like to stay away from XP. I'd like to install Windows 7, but I'm unsure if with the above stats (particularly just 3GB of RAM), should I go with Win 7 32-bit or 64-bit? Also, consider the only drive in the system will be the 64GB SSD, so the 32-bit version of Win7 would save a decent amount of install size. All he does is browse the web, that's it, so 64GB should suit him just fine.

It should be fine with 32-bit. The main reason to recommend 64-bit is the potential to upgrade to greater than 4GB of RAM, which isn't too likely on that machine.
