any reason to go for linux?

Price, Stability, Speed. Those are the 3 reasons I would use Linux. You download it for free, rarely crashes the whole system, is very responsive. I say try it.

Only you can answer that question, for some people going with Linux makes perfect sense, for some it does not.
For my work, Linux is far supperior to Windows.
For my parents, either would work, but they know Windows, so I see no reason to switch them to Linux.
For you...heck if I know, try it, and let us know, it's free after all 🙂

Stability is a null issue. I find Windows XP more stable that Linux. Never had a crash that took the whole system with it.
