Any reason not to upgrade to SP2?

Are there any reasons that I shouldnt upgrade to service pack 2 for win2k pro?

none that i know of ...I say u just go for it ..sp2 made my system alot more stable + gained some 3d performance

Just be sure to check for known issues with your existing applications. For example, services such as Citrix Metaframe, Nfuse, RAS clients or the like are often victims of service packs. There are usually workarounds, but it's worth checking first.

One of those, "an ounce of prevention" sort of things.

My experience though is that SP-2 is worth doing.

SP2 is definitely worth upgrading to. In fact, my experience it that you won't need the 4 in 1 drivers any longer and that your machine will be much more stable and fast. Also, I don't know if it affects you or not, but SP2 now supports Dolby Digital pass-thru if you run a multimedia PC.
