any reason not to join MCI's neighborhood?

if u read the fine print, it says that they need a security deposit. they only accept testicles. just kidding. actually, what i am wondering is... what is the one low monthly rate? also... based on their partners program... i think u will be solicited and spammed to hell.

The voicemail via web/email sounds interesting. Not available where I am yet (is there any coverage maps showing where they have service?)
Bill

I'm signed up.
My service will change over this week.
Is anyone else using this service already?
How is it?

It's is available where I live (Atlanta). I have been thinking about switching myself. I can't stand giving Bellsouth money.

Sorry but Qwest (formerly US Worst, err US West) already owns that title.

i think they all can via for that title.

anycase.

Other then that its MCI, I am sure its good. I can tell you now that they will probably find some way to charge you more in some other area of the service and that their own reps will call you to offer the service. They will, w/o a doubt, spam you to hell.

This will save me $1,200.00/year

Once they realize that you are calling that much, they will change the terms of service.

The old MCI friends and family did not bother telling you that the person you were calling had to be part of the MCI network for the discount.

Double check the actual terms of service, knowing MCI, I suspect that will be the case.
The target of your call may have to either also be on this plan or an MCI customer for you to not get hit with extra $.

this was brought up in HD when it was posted there, but someone said that the fine print states that it can only be used for voice communicatoins, and not data communications.
