Any reason not to buy a Viewsonic G?

Its on sale at Sears right now for $369. After being without my phone for nearly a week while waiting for a replacement to ship, I realized that a tablet would not be a bad idea. This one looks to be the most hackable with the biggest screen.

Thoughts?

you like messing around with them so i'd say just buy it. they're sweet once you fix them up.

if you have a sears outlet around you you could probably save some money getting one returned by someone that didn't want to hack it.

The screen looked pretty bad in the Anandtech review.

Have you considered the Nook Color? It seems to have a good amount of community support and seems to be a much better made system in general.

the viewing angles aren't great but i'm not using it as a TV- i look straiht on mostly.

and the Gtabs specs blow away the nooks aside from the screen.

...and the gtab is twice is much for a 3" smaller screen. I'm not going to be doing super computing. Just browse the web and watch some movies.
