Any random supply issues by you?

Went shopping today and it seems like TP, chicken and a few other random things are in very low supply. Haven't been able to get hot chili oil in a couple weeks. The Tortilla chip section was almost completely empty

Last week I wanted to get specific granola bars for halloween. They're really good, and make a good treat, and I can take them for lunch if halloween is a wash. None on the shelf.

During my last Sam's Club run, they were out of several items I buy:

Monster Energy drinks, Sweet and Salty Peanut Bars, and green beans.

They have routinely been out of many items over the last 18 months, so I pretty much expect at least a few items to be out of stock anymore. At least toilet paper has usually been in stock over the last 10 months, whereas I couldn't find any in stock for around 6 months or so last year.

I usually give out full sized candybars; usually something imported. I don't want to be stuck with them. The granola bars are good anyway. Better than anything they sell in the bags of shit sized candy anyway.

Ceramic pottery and watering cans seem to be a mess right now. Check out the order date and ship date on this invoice I just received. Incredible! How that for some shipping delays! hahaha Christmas is going to be a MESS this year.

Amazon has it BUT @ $7 per jar I'll pass for now.... have to "rough it" with Guldons!

(Local Stop & Shop normally = $2.99)

Meh. Plochmans? I mean it's decent mustard, but why not Bertman's Ballpark Mustard or Stadium Mustard?

Edit - in following the actual thread purpose - the supply chain is definitely semi jacked. Gallon jars of jalapenos were something noticeably missing from Walmart. There are times when I go where there are not a ton of dry ready to cook meals like hamburger helper(though I don't generally buy those). It seems to be worse when the COVID cases are up in my area. I'm guessing people stocking up before the next great shortage of stuff.

Local Kroger. 😮😮

But my customer that works at another location said the cooler was probably broken.

edit: arm and hammer naturals deodorant.

Could have sworn the question at hand was (essentially) what do I normally buy but can't currently find, not "what is your favorite mustard"...?

😉

And in answer to your question, its stronger then most "spicy" brown mustards but not so strong it over-powers milder foods. (I usually have 5-6 different mustards at any given time)

Also I like it! 😛

Nothing that I know of but it's been at least a week since I went to the groceries. I am probably due to buy more TP though. I try to keep at least 2-3 packages in stock now after that ridiculousness last year.

I like to keep a couple of bottles of Gatorade in the fridge during the summer. The grocery store near me has been out for what seems like months.

Sometimes they'll have a couple of random bottles of the grossest flavors but even that's pretty rare.

Finally found some canned stuff yesterday in a local Dollar Tree of all places but the brands I prefer have been completely MIA for weeks.

Coconut is the one flavor I would get sick of if I had to ingest it every day.

My mom loves it though.

So far nothing in my little neck of the woods. Did a large grocery run a few days ago, and Costco last week. Didn't see anything missing yet. Some weeks back Costco was out of the large bag of Organic sugar, but that's it.

Went to Costco in Tumwater (Olympia) on Monday. the only toilet paper they had in the whse was the super-jumbo rolls for dispensers. None for "home" use.
I was able to order from Costco.com, at a slightly higher price...and, of course, I had to spend $75 on qualified items to get free shipping. (but only one package of TP)

TP "shortage" (scalping) AGAIN???

And people thought I was crazy to keep a good stock-pile since last time...
