Any Quake mods out there that let you kill Pokemon?

I've heard people talk of mods for Quake (all versions) that let you blast Pikachu (and other forms of Pokemon). Do these things exist and if so can you provide a link? I would love to exterminate the little bastards from the comfort of my own home!! Thanks.

I've seen those images and they're great. But I'm not the one doing the killing! If I were you I'd live up to my name when it came to pokemon!

Somebody made a Pikachu skin for UT, also a Pikachu Voice pack. It looks great, but does not work really well. Some people (Including myself) have had problems getting it to work.

I did get the skin to work in DM. It was pretty funny. I also got the voice pack to work in multiplayer games, but could not get them to work together.

There is nothing wrong with Pokemon. When I was a kid I collected baseball cards. Today my kid collects Pokemon cards. It doesn't hurt anything, and he really likes it. He's 9 years old. Now if your 16, 17, 18... and still playing Pokemon, then you have a problem.

As for corrupting our youth, My boy gets terrific grades in school, and just made the Elementary Honors program.

Stosh: When i mean corrupting young boys i mean think about it. Back when i was a kid, Gi-Joe and Transformers was the rage. In Gi-Joe you had the evil cobra on one team and the Gi-Joe on the good team. Plus they used guns, missles, rockets, tanks, airplanes. Also, it's AMERICA that fought against cobra, so every kid was like, go USA.

In Transformers, you had the Autobots on the good team and the Decepticon on the evil team. They fought each other with lasers. So as young boys, we would always fantasize about shooting a cobra trooper or beating up a decepticon. Why? Cuz that's what young boys do! You know, cowboys and indians, cops and robbers!

NOW, you got stupid pokemon. What in god's name is this? Fighting each other with stupid cute things with stupid magical powers?!!! No offense, but man, but come on.......

Well, dunno about Quake, but there's a very scary Barney the Dinosaur monster for Doom. Even sings "I love you...". VERY disturbing, but also very satisfying when you blow it to bits.

Now we have fluffy little cutesy animals "battling" (if you can even call it that) each other just for the hell of it? What's the point? What are they fighting for, good, evil, what's the reason? Haha and to make things worse. i just saw this preview for a new cartoon/biteoff...get this dood....it revolves around the same concept except....they use MAGICAL CARDS, hahahahaha. It's like a group of people supposedly fight and compete to find THE MAGICAL TIME CARD. Who ever has the card is i guess the most powerful or stupidest, hahahaah.

I don't know, maybe I'm just getting old and don't really care. I don't watch the TV show, my boy doesn't watch it much either. He's more into card collecting, the value of specific cards.

It's just a fad, like Power Rangers or Beanie Babies. It will fade away with time.

As for corrupting children, I'm alot more concerned with the extremely violent crap they put on TV, especially ads for movies. It seems like most movies made today have a ton of sex or a ton of violence or both. Believe me, I am no religious right zealot. I know this is what people go to see. Especially teens. Hell, I play UT a lot, a game with some extreme violence. I know, I have the option to turn it off, but hey, I like TV. The Simpsons is hilarious, it just that plastering these ads every 20 seconds gets to be a bit much.

My point is this. There are a lot of worse things out there than some harmless fantasy like Pokemon.

Hahaha, that's the problem. I don't think boys should be playing with pokemon. I'd rather have them watch a more violent cartoon that pokemon. But hey, whatever makes your kids happy is utlimately the most important thing.
