any purchased a "Burn Proof Technology" cdrw?

Hi, i want to know will a cdrw ever make another coaster if it has this technology.
Or just a decrease of making coasters?

I really can't predict the future, but on mine, I am 6 for 6. Not that many burns...but

On all burns, I was surfing the net or doing something else while the burn was taking place.

I have read some positive reviews on it as well. See model below.

I haven't made any coasters that wasn't caused by user error using mine yet. I've burned around 60 or so CDs, with one being a dud since I took it out prematurely.

It won't stop coasters, but it might prevent a few.

I don't have a Burn proof drive, but have made nearly a dozen coasters - however, none of those would have been prevented by Burnproof.

My coasters came mostly from buggy software (Nero 5 and EZ CD creator 4) but I've had a couple from mistakes: e.g. cancelling a burn accidentally, or knocking the recorder.

I have the Plextore 12/10/32 it rules, i have had a couple of coasters before but they were my fault. Who cares anyways though, CD-Rs are CHEAP!!! OMG there goes 30cents down the toilet!!! haha j/p

My friend has the Plextor 12x10x32 and he rarely burns coasters. Coasters also have to do with the drive and cd-r quality. Even with cheap Kingston CD-Rs, he burns good cds.

I don't think Burn Proof is necessary, as all it really does is stop the buffer from running out because you are doing to much other stuff while burning. When I burn a cd, I just browse the internet or simple things like that. It's not like I can't wait 7 minutes before doing anything that hogs the cpu a lot.

i was just burning this morning...

and i accidentally tested the feature of my plextor 121032a.

i forgot i was burning, and moved a 20 MB file from one partition of a HDD to another...

the buffer went from 100 down to 1% very fast, and stayed there for a while...
