Any ps2 hookup usb????

Hey all. I have a new ps2 and wanted to know as some other people do. How can i hook it up thru the usb cable port?? Is there any software available to connect and how about a usb cable extender to hookup comp:female ps2:female extender both ends male????

 
First off, you probably have people confused as to "PS2" which could be a port or a Playstation 2. I don't think the USB connector on the PS2 was made for hooking the PSX2 up to a PC. I think it was made for peripherals but I could be wrong. Your best bet is to look to Sony for the answer or a PSX2 specialty site.
