I've played Tony Hawk 3 online with my PS2. I have Madden 2002 and doubt it supports the online deal. I'll have to buy the new one.
 
This is a pretty poorly organized attempt at forming a football league. The minute you get serious, I suggest you do what people at other forums are doing.

1)Decide on a platform
2)Design a simple website with:
*Info on team assignments
*Info on platforms; how-to connect
*Schedules/match-ups

In another league I've joined, we've got about 25 people signed up (so far) in our Xbox Live! league using NFL 2K3. That won't start until mid-Nov. when Xbox Live! is launched.

hey guys, for all you wondering how to get online right now, this is the setup i followed (note that i just copied this out of a faq from gamefaqs).

- Linksis 10/100TX USB Ethernet Adapter
- cable modem
- ethernet cable
- USB cable
- Sony PS2 Memory Card (400KB Free)
- Sony PS2 System
- Sony PS2 Madden NFL 2003 Game
- Recommended: USB Keyboard for PS2

- Turn on Madden NFL 2003
- Select Features, Online
- Create a new account
- Load, dark blue screen appears
- Add new settings
- Proceed until it asks to select hardware
- Select the Linksis 10/100TX USB Ethernet Adapter
- Proceed until it asks for a password
- If you need one to connect, select 'yes'--chances are you can just press 'no'
- Your next two choices need to be 'auto'
- It's all set up, so quit
- Now go online, through Features, Online
- Make a profile, register it online
- PLAY SOME FOOTBALL

i don't know if other usb-ethernet adapters work, im using the linksys 10/100tx myself. there's a lot of info on the madden board at gamefaqs, located here so hopefully i'll see some of you guys online soon. 😉
 
I would volunteer to do the website if I can join with 2002. If that's not possible you could always donate me a 2003.
 
To make it even more fun and competetive, I will be adding prizes to the prize pool to be awarded to the winner throughout the season.
The first prize into the pool is a PS2 game - SSX!!!

First off. NFL 2k3 on XboX is the bomb!!
It looks better, plays better, got better reviews and it is Broadband only. No Lag.
and when XboX LivE starts, the N Y JetS are taking over!!!
